亚太展会

2008年，新加坡打印耗材展览会将在新加坡展览中心举办。该展馆位于新加坡机场和新加坡市中心之间，占地100，000平米（1亿英尺）的展馆是目前东南亚地区最大的展会场馆之一。

这将是在去年6月份新加坡展会取得巨大成功基础的又一次盛会。对于大多数亚洲人来说，新加坡是一个广受赞誉的国家：干净、安全、祥和，而且中英双语交流。新加坡作为全球最大的港口，同时也是排在伦敦、纽约和东京之后全球第四大贸易中心。新加坡也是在世界上排名最开放友好经济国家。

 Graham J. Galliford，再生行业全球知名的专家，以在07年展会上发表了题为“在新加坡，当东方与西方相遇，亚洲生产商和西方竞争对手在新型原材料资源领域将会产生强大的交互作用”。

的确，很多新产品都是产自澳大利亚、中国、香港、印度、日本、韩国、马来西亚、菲律宾岛、新加坡、台湾和泰国的碳粉、OPC鼓、墨盒和耗材配件的生产商。还有许多产品产自欧洲、英国、中东和美国。

高级行业分析师，John Shane，Info Trends 总裁认为将会址选在新加坡是非常有利的。“新加坡的地理位置优越，因为它位于环太平洋地区的中心，进入都非常容易，而且在新加坡，优良的设施、现代化的公路以及安全便捷的街道都使新加坡成为北美、欧洲、中东客商的理想之地。同时，从商业角度出发，英语的普及也使新加坡对西方人具有极大的吸引力”。

新加坡的命名取自马来语的Singa(狮子)和Pura（城市）。酒吧的男服务生位于新加坡的全球知名的Raffles酒店作为新加坡的骄傲。在2007年展会期间很多人到富于传奇色彩的Raffle酒吧品尝不同风味的酒。

An Asia Pacific Fair

       In 2008, Recharge Singapore will be held at the Singex Exhibition Centre. located about halfway between Singapore Airport and downtown Singapore, this 100,000 square meter (~1 million square feet) facility is one of the largest exposition venues in Southeast Asia!

It will be the second year for RechargExpo Singapore after the smashing success of the inaugural event last June. For most Asians, Singapore is a prized destination: It is a clean, safe, peaceful venue where both Chinese and English languages are spoken. It is the world’s largest port, and the world’s fourth largest foreign exchange trading center after London, New York City and Tokyo. Singapore has also been rated as the most business-friendly economy in the world.

       Graham J. Galliford, a world-renowned consultant to the imaging industry, noted that at the 2007 Show “When East met West in Singapore, there was intense interaction between Asian producers and their Western counterparts and with prospective raw material sources.”

       Indeed,they came from Asian toner, OPC drum, ink jet ink and imaging hardware manufacturers in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippine Islands, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Many also came from Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and the United States.

Senior industry analyst John Shane, a Director of InfoTrends (Weymouth, Massachusetts) commented favorably on the choice of Singapore as a trade show venue. “The Singapore location is quite good,” Shane said, “because it is central to the Australia-Asia-Pacific region. Ease of travel into, out of, and within Singapore, its new facilities, modern roadways, and safe streets make the city-state an attractive venue for people coming from North America, Europe, or the Middle East. Also, common use of English gives Singapore special appeal to Westerners, from a business point of view.”

Singapore derives its name from the Malay words singa (lion) and pura (city). Bartenders recognize the city’s world famous Raffles hotel as the home of the Singapore Sling many of these concoctions were consumed at the legendary Raffles Bar during RechargExpo 2007!
